The 2010 Sugar Bowl will feature the 3rd ranked Cincinnati Bearcats taking on the 5th-ranked Florida Gators. Big East champion Cincinnati (12-0) is making their second straight BCS appearance and will be making their first ever Sugar Bowl appearance. Florida (12-1), the defending national champions and runners-up in the Southeastern Conference after having their 22-game winning streak snapped by Alabama in the SEC Championship, will be making their first Sugar Bowl appearance since 2001.
